Description

Planted in 1982, Oakey Creek is recognized as one of the finest and most awarded sites in the region. 
Fruit was hand harvested and then crushed, chilled and pressed immediately.  Fermentation took place via natural yeasts in stainless steel without any time in oak and no malolactic fermentation.
Brokenwood Oakey Creek Semillon is a brilliant exapmle of Hunter Semillon, dispalying the classic fruit character with citrus/ lemongrass aromas and lemond curd, mineral drive complexity through the long and expansive finish.
