100% chardonnay from the Meursault AOC in Burgundy.
"Vieilles Vignes" translates to "Old Vines" with the fruit for this wine coming from vines over 50 years in age.
The grapes are hand harvested before spending time in oak barrels on the lees for 12 to 14 months.
In its youth, this wine is evocative of ripe grapes with green, floral aromas.
As it ages it will begin to exhibit tertiary notes of honey and hazelnut.
