Rockford Basket Press Shiraz Museum Collection

We are very pleased to have secured a collection of twenty five vintages of the Barossa Valley icon, Rockford Basket Press Shiraz.  This is one of Australia’s most collected and highly sought after wines with a reputation for cellaring exceptionally well.  
Winemaker Robert O’Callahan released his first vintage of Basket Press Shiraz in 1984. Basket Press Shiraz was initially created to highlight the quality and value of the Barossa region’s old vine vineyards, that Robert observed were being increasingly overlooked and undervalued.  The Rockford team’s passion for the region and respect for its history and traditions are evident in the wines.  They are an honest reflection of the season and the region’s old vine shiraz sites.
