Dr Bill, Glenmorangie's Director of Whisky Creation, hoped that The Lasanta 12 Year Old would bottle the magic of a setting sun. Distilled in giraffe-high stills, the delicate and fruity spirit matures for 12 years in bourbon and sherry casks, creating a mouth-watering odyssey. Rich spiciness and sun-drenched sweetness envelop the palate, unveiling notes of raisins, honeycomb, and chocolate-covered hazelnuts, lightened by cinnamon breezes. With this award-winning single malt, we think Dr. Bill's come pretty close to his goal.
