Every year, the brew team at Coopers challenges themselves to make their best beer of the year. Our 2026 Vintage Ale features an experimental hop, HBC-1134, alongside the US hop Krush. This limited seasonal release is never around for long, and once they're gone, they're gone!
For Vintage Ale 2026, Krush hops deliver aromas of navel orange, supported by peach, berries, ripe mango, guava and lychee, while HBC-1134 adds floral, citrus and herbal characters. Vintage Ale is perfect to drink when released, but this age-worthy ale will develop over time as the hop aromatics soften and the malty characters come to the fore.
Vintage Ale 2026 displays a smooth and creamy palate featuring fruit-forward flavours of mango and passsionfruit, which balance the woody notes and malty flavour.
