Description

The Tallawanta Vineyard, planted in 1920, is one of the most celebrated Shiraz Vineyards in the Hunter Valley and has been under Brokenwood’s careful management since 2014.
Beautiful mid-density colour with bright purple hues. Lifted berry fruits with some char from the French oak build on the palate. The Tallawanta has medium-bodied weight, ripe berry fruit and fine, long tannins that carry through to the finish. A classic medium-weight Hunter Valley red wine that is a lovely drink as a young wine and will also age beautifully.
