Description
In crafting the Rosato, the Brokenwood winemakers were after a European style wine that possessed fruit sweetness but with a dry finish. Composed of two Italian varieties – Sangiovese (55%) and Nebbiolo (45%), the team adhered to a European tradition of partially crushing the fruit by foot stomping before a next day press to tank and partial ferment in old oak. The finished wine is a dry yet textural rose that packs plenty of flavour with a crips core of refreshing acid drive. Salute!
