Balvenie 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL

The Balvenie Doublewood Scotch Whisky is aged for 12 years in traditional American oak ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads. Throughout this process it develops into a mellow spirit with layers of warming vanilla spice. Further complexity is achieved by transferring the whisky to Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks for an additional nine months, infusing the Single Malt with fruity and honeyed characteristics. The final touch involves a stint in large oak vessels called "tuns" for 3-4 months, allowing the whisky to harmonize, creating a sophisticated dram. A must have addition to any whisky collection or an excellent gift for a whisky lover.
