This wine is a blend of grape varieties cultivated in these organic vineyards:

80% Bobal: From irrigated trellised vineyards at Finca Casa de la Viña, located in La Portera, Requena, at an altitude of 731 meters. The soil is a mix of clay and humic elements, resulting in an average yield of 2.5 kg per vine, with harvest taking place in the second week of October.

10% Tempranillo: Sourced from non-irrigated trellised vineyards at Finca El Churro, also in La Portera, Requena. These vines sit at an altitude of 689 meters in clay and calcareous soil, yielding about 4.5 kg per vine. The harvest occurs in the second week of September.

10% Cabernet Sauvignon: Grown in irrigated trellised vineyards at Finca Los Rincones, situated in La Portera, Requena. This vineyard, at 720 meters altitude, features calcareous soil and yields about 4 kg per vine. The grapes are typically harvested in the second week of September.

Each plot is meticulously vinified separately, with destemmed and crushed grapes fermented in concrete vats at controlled temperatures, allowing for fermentative maceration over two weeks. This process ensures that Bles Tinto captures the essence of each grape variety, resulting in a wine that's versatile enough to pair with light pasta dishes, white meat, pizzas, or simply enjoyed on it's own.
