Yoshinogawa - Sydney Sake Festival 2025

 Established in 1548, Yoshinogawa is located in Niigata Prefecture in the small city of Nagaoka. Now in the hands of the 20th generation of the Kawakami Family. It is the 5th oldest existing Sake brewery in Japan and the oldest in Niigata Prefecture. Pristine underground springwater, locally grown rice, 470 plus years of tradition and modern technology combine to make Yoshinogawa one of the most respected and consistent producers of premium sake with a legion of loyal customers. 
Niigata is famous for its crisp, clean sake with a dry finish. Yoshinogawa have mastered the art of crafting both classic and modern interpretations of the Niigata style of sake.
