Description
Elevate your wine experience with St Hugo DR3 Cabernet Sauvignon, a collaboration between esteemed winery St Hugo and Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo. This distinctive cabernet showcases regional excellence from Coonawarra's Tera Rossa soil over limestone.
In the glass, it's a captivating dark brick red with aromas of dark floral violets, red fruits, blackcurrant, and raspberry, intertwined with hints of dried herbs and bay leaf. The palate delights with fine, glossy tannins and bright red fruits, accented by a subtle oak influence.
Harvested in April 2021, bottled in October 2022, and released in March 2023, with 14.5% alcohol by volume, a total acidity (TA) of 6.1g/L, and a pH of 3.52, this wine will reward patience, developing in complexity as it ages in bottle. We suggest an ideal drinking window of 2024 to 2038.
St Hugo DR3 Cabernet Sauvignon is more than wine; it's a testament to precision and dedication, both on the racetrack and in winemaking. Celebrate excellence and savour the artistry of cabernet at its finest.
